Possible improvements:
- (Not related to the game itself) You can adjust the screen resolution to full size for itch.io, for more convenience
- Can add a mouse sensitivity setting (or just set it initially to smaller value)
- Flashlight light seems too bright indoors
- Walking sounds seem too loud
- The text at the bottom is quite small, I didn't even notice it the first time I saw it
- Where's the screamer?)
The game is very atmospheric (reminiscent of Fears to Fathom), but it was hard to find car parts because the size of the map is unclear and it's easy to get confused by the lack of identifying marks (almost all the forest is the same). Overall, I enjoyed the game!
I really liked the whole atmosphere and looks.
I almost finished but got stuck in a tree before getting to the car :( Maybe disable leaves collision?
I like the enemies mechanics, but I feel like they don't ever stop following you and start getting a bit too much sometimes
Actually, the eyeball stops when the distance between him and the player exceeds 35m+-. The Wendigo one chases you always, true. It stops only when you look at him directly
I really liked the overall vibe and atmosphere of the game! The trees have a kind of jelly structure - not sure if it's intentional, but it gives a surreal touch.
In one of the houses, I couldn’t go down a pair of stairs - it looked like there were only two steps, but I just got stuck and couldn’t descend.
Also, I’d suggest making the dialogue text disappear more smoothly. When entering the trigger zone, it worked fine, but when I walked near the edge, the text kept flickering in and out. Maybe keep the message active for 5 seconds after leaving the zone using something like OnExit()?
There’s also one dialogue where “черешня” is mentioned — I wasn’t sure what it was referring to. Some context would help.
One more thing: it was pretty easy to get lost. A small map or some kind of navigation aid would go a long way. At times I experienced what I’d call topological confusion (cretinism) in the forest - I wandered in circles not knowing if I had been there before or not.

Absolute cinema, the best game ever created. Hope it will be released on iPod shuffle...
A few glitches like bad colliders and strangely working spatial audio were presented, but otherwise gameplay is fire!
So firstly, I dont really play many horror games, and usually when i do its more psychological horror. This game really nails the eerie vibes, whether it is the artwork, music or the creatures having different personalities. I cant really say much about what can be improved but i can make some suggestions which may or may not be good. Firstly, i think having some "fake" noises would be quite nice, like a rabbit or bat to give some fake ambience. And another thing would be to add one more mob, because i think even though the 2 is enough, by my 3rd life i got a bit used to it, and one that only spawns when 4 items collected would make it scarier. But its for more hardcore players i guess.
I did encounter 2 bugs, i dont know if this is to be mentioned in the review, but ill say it nonetheless if it can be of any help. One was that the game crashed when i saw one of the entities, and the other, i got trapped in a tree and when i crouched i went under the map.
Overall i enjoyed the game a lot, i think a few more levels and a bit of story, I can see myself buying it on steam.
